In the span of four days at HIMSS16, I was present as an exhibitor within 200 square feet of booth space at the back of Hall G in the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV. I walked an average of about 5 miles a day, renewing my respect for anyone who makes a living on their feet, and I had more 30 second conversations for the sake of a stress ball and a pen than I care to remember. Yet, for all of the plastic luxury that the city had to offer in the form of its themed resorts and top-tier restaurants, I, and my fellow booth staff, made many solid connections with industry peers and managed to spark genuine interest with those who had become entranced by the green and orange of the Healthjump brand as they navigated through the massive exhibit hall.
